        It is when there is no transparency. One of the prerequisites of capitalism. But modern day capitalism is not what Adam Smith wrote about. Just appropriate what you can use for self interest and ignore what is in the interest of the common good.

        Capitalism could work but it depends upon people being inherently interested in doing the right thing for everyone which society has proved it's incapable of. Greed is simply too tempting for most.
