It's a third party claim in @jordanbpeterson's defamation suit. Once I see the statement of claim in a few days I will have more info.

But this provides a hint. Even though it is Rambukkana and Pimlott who compared Peterson to Hitler, called him an alt-right adjacent figure who doxxes his own students, etc., apparently I am "solely" attributable for the damagespic.twitter.com/dpk6XI9ZIe

Wonder why they are not also suing
@nationalpost ,@globalnews ,@RubinReport , or anyone else who disseminated parts of the recording?Show this thread -
And don't forget, Rambukkana, Pimlott and Joel invented the complaint that brought me into that meeting. So I was exonerated and Rambukkana publicly apologized to me....but he is now suing me

On what grounds?
-
They’re saying if anyone has to pay damages to Peterson, it should be Shepherd because she released the tapes of them saying defamatory things, therefore causing the ostensible damage.
-
But it must be argued that
@NewWorldHominin acted as a whistle blower--especially given the unjust sanctioning of Shepherd in a climate of coercive suppression, and the subsequent apology from MacLatchy. - 1 more reply

2. Do not discuss the case publicly until you have advice from said lawyer above 3. Do discuss with said lawyer various legal mechanisms for extricating yourself from the third party role in the litigation /2
-
This is exactly right. Please consult with your lawyer before commenting publically. You have one one of the best ones, in my opinion, so let him deal with it.
-
She did not discuss the case. She made the public aware of the suit and gave a brief synopsis of who and why. Lawsuits are a matter of public record and are filed with the courthouse of jurisdiction.
-
Thanks for response. Its imp to note 2 things. A. She did bit more than that, but even if not my point is looking forward. Her enemies will distort her comments & use them in the legal process. Silence is best B. She has excellent lawyer. Let him oversee her public commentsCheers
-
Good point. Especially about her enemies using her words against her
