  2. Locating a 9-1-1 emergency is serious – it could save a life. Our 9-1-1 mapping unit assists towns/cities with their mapping process and updates. The maps they make provide critical location information for every 9-1-1 emergency. Well done mapping team...thank you!

  4. Please watch Parkland Medical Center's video on our Facebook page regarding the importance of calling 9-1-1 instead of driving yourself or a loved one to the hospital. Their campaign, 'Survive Don't Drive,' is important - please share in your communities.

  5. 911 TC Matt Kinzler was inducted into the Stork Club. On 11/25/19 Matt provided medical instructions to a panicked Nashua father. Driving his wife to the hospital, he had to pull over on the road & call 9-1-1. Their baby boy was delivered in the car. Congrats Matt!

  9. Christmas is over and now it’s time to set up your new home smart speaker. Inherently, smart speakers can't call 9-1-1 because they don’t provide callback number or location information. Please read more on our FaceBook page (@e911newhampshire). Share with your community.

  11. Teaching children how to call 9-1-1 in an emergency could save a life. Explain how your cell phones work and how they can access the keypad or SOS feature. Be sure they know their home address & practice location descriptions away from home. Don't practice on a real phone.

  14. We're on duty for the duration of the storm. Only call 911 for true emergencies. Know your location-street address, city/town, route & direction of travel. Non-emergencies call local police/fire on business lines. Power outage information contact service provider directly.

  15. For non-emergency questions about power outages, please call the phone numbers listed in this post. If, however, you see downed power lines, stay away and call 9-1-1. Please share this information with your local communities.
