David shouldn't feel bad. My son got rejected by UCLA, USC, & Stanford, but was accepted by UC Berkeley. In his junior year, he was recruited by an incredible company, and walked straight into an amazing career after graduating in 2016. Getting rejected worked out great for him.

Getting accepted or rejected by a particular school is based more on a coin flip than anything else.
