Decisions between >2 options are tricky. In our newest work, we could not replicate a previous “divisive normalization” or “distractor effect” in decisions btw 3 food snacks. But we found remarkable dynamic interactions between valuation & attention: (1/6)

I thought it could be helpful to have a thread on ANOVA in R. As a statistical consultant, this is the most frequent FAQ I get from clients - how to run a linear model on their data, conduct hypothesis tests, extract predicted means and perform contrasts.

To the left, you see a trained agent playing a level of a game. To the right, you see the same playthrough from an agent-centric perspective: cropped, translated, and rotated with the agent in the center. Which perspective is the best input for the agent?

I spent four years learning to run efficient regression analyses in R. Now I've written them into some handy functions so you won't have to.

Check out our new work with , , and ! We show that hippocampal place cells remap in similar + predictable ways across rats. This challenges the standard view that place cell remapping is random. 🐀🧠🗺️ Preprint here:

New preprint with Jan Balaguer, Bernhard Spitzer and now out on this topic: Why are our decisions sometimes “irrational”? Take the example below. Which lottery do you prefer in scenario 1? What about scenario 2? 1/12

Recent findings suggest the brain uses domain-general encoding to structure experiences based on distance or similarity. Yet the implications for behavior are not well known. Well, we have a new preprint for that! 1/4

I'm proud in to introduce evidently, a python package for simulating from evidence accumulation models. Unlike other packages, it focuses on the time course of these models, and should be particularly useful for looking at their EEG correlates!
