    The killer’s ensemble so closely resembles the Gorton’s Fisherman, the script originally had a fish stick joke referencing it. Ultimately it got cut because the director feared it detracted from the tension of the particular moment.

    The iconic “What are you waiting for?!” scene was actually *not* directed by the film’s director, Jim Gillespie, but by a fan who pitched the idea and won a contest. Jennifer Love Hewitt told US that at first she wasn’t into it, but changed her mind when she saw the final cut.
