You can look at medals and see a general overview of your stats... but no weapon tracking, specialist tracking, mode tracking, or anything like we saw back in Black Ops 1.

What is the point of building a game that will "be supported heavily" for many years to come, when we can't even have simple stat tracking? Especially strange considering you can have your stats from BO1/2/3 all put together in a video on the Call of Duty website

SAME! Why is this such a hard thing for the studios to implement. The Black Ops 1 combat record was incredible, detailed, clean, and added to the overall experience
Maybe combat record will come when BO4 is released everywhere. But that is just me guessing.
can you go to certain weapons in the create a class and see how many kills you have with it
Not for me man, I just see weapon level, and the ability to customize it with camos and such. A kill counter is available as a prestige unlock, but that's hardly a replacement for a combat record. I really hope @Treyarch and @TreyarchPC address this. What in the world?

No, nothing. I've searched all around each of the menus and there is nothing there.
It will probably be released with the day 1 update so people that play early couldn't get an advantage

This is the worst news I've had all week. The combat record is a staple of the black ops games. COD always manages to do this though. They make great improvements to some parts of the game, but it usually comes at the expense of something that was standard in the previous titles.
