This is about 4 years too late. Prank channels no longer make the type of content that violates the policy because they moved on. The copyright system is a mess and being abused worse than ever which seems to be the biggest issue right now. Also channels being unfairly terminated

A few videos (that come to memory) that explain the issue with the copyright system and how broken it is or abusable. Gus Johnson https://youtu.be/Tqj2csl933Q CDawgVA https://youtu.be/pmYwgqlDolA Angry Joe https://youtu.be/diyZ_Kzy1P8

Appreciate you flagging this, we've seen all of these videos as well and have teams talking to both labels and creators. We take misuse of our copyright tools seriously, up to terminating abusive users (which has happened recently). We'll share any other updates as we get them.

I appreciate the response and the actions taken. I hope to see these changes implemented soon as it probably would help the morale of the community as a whole.

Rawman on top of this. On a serious note
@TeamYouTube something needs to be done to prevent companies like UMG from mass-flagging videos for copyright infringement when those videos fall under fair use. Whoever flags a video should NOT be judge and jury on copyright issues.1 reply 0 retweets 26 likes
^^^ this It's pretty much impossible to determine whether or not content constitutes fair use of copyrighted media without human intervention, no matter how accurate a bot is in detecting the content it simply can't determine what the intent and legal validity of said content is.

Not to mention companies that have control over mass flagging usually seem to ignore fair use entirely.
