Unfortunately having some art block. Tried to draw jinx in like 5 different poses and they all felt static oof

how do u deal with artblock? I swear i feel like i’ve had it for 2 years with no progress lol
Well it does help to know the cause of artblock. What I know most about it is that it stems from having a lot of knowledge about art. So much so that it kind of inhibits you, like, you keep seeing your work as "bad", when it really isn't. (/1)

If you look at this graphic it kind of explains why it happens. It happens due to having a good eye at art. How to get around this is just by doing small practices, like, for fun. Just try out something new, challenge yourself. It's why artists do studies.pic.twitter.com/f2RHBI2cUp

But TL;DR: do studies, brush up on your work, maybe try doing a redraw of old art to see how far you've come? It doesn't have to be perfect, and that's the point. It's just to get you back on a good art flow. And that's how you solve it.
