I’ve wondered if it’s Graffiti and have a different interpretation of why they do what they do. Plus they’re very young. I understand that young people and otherwise emotionally and psychologically immature people are perplexed by Greg. It takes knowing toxicity to recognize it.

From what I've seen even when they become adults they still love Onision even pick uo his sane thought process and bad habits. Its disturbing like watxhing a virus spread and you want to stop it but can't cause if they refuse to open their eyes and mind they'll be lost forever.

At least until he comes after something they like, like the black hair thing he lost a lot Black fans but even then some of them would have rather disowned and their own race then to abandon the toxic Onision fandom. So who's to say they wont just keep conforming to his standards

The cycle of abuse is like a virus that spreads. If you come from abuse you need to heal yourself through concerted therapy or you WILL fall back into its folds and become abusive yourself, in one form or another. Abuse is learned, unchecked behavior.

Onision/Lainey fans are all abuse victims and Onision and Lainey are their abuser.

The tricky thing is, so do many of the haters. Some are just as abusive, which makes it impossible to be heard.

But are they even willing to listen. You have shown them respect they'll be nice and agree with you to you but go back to being a toxic O fan it just seems they're playing you for the fool and want to stay the way they are Cause if they listened to you they wouldnt still be toxic

It takes more than someone tweeting to see into the dynamics of abuse. To use a platitude, Rome wasn’t built in a day. I personally never feel taken for a fool because I don’t have expectations of changing anybody’s mind. I hope to MAYBE have them question, if only for a second.

There are MANY times someone tried to teach me something and I only understood it many years later. It wasn’t wasted. They planted a seed that grew in me. That’s all.

I guarantee I wouldn’t have been helped by them if they were abusive while trying to teach me, though. And you don’t heal abuse with abuse.
