Local company Hootsuite has signed a contract with ICE despite an outpouring of employee opposition. Disgusting to see a company that has marketed itself as "ethical" make a move like this.

I love how everyone has turned themselves into cops to police those around them due to COVID-19 while there is a worldwide, black-led movement to defund police happening at the same time. There's a certain dramatic irony to it that's almost poetic.

The interference in this case by an external judge also exposes the role of external pro-Israel lobbying campaigns in trying to shut down scholarship and activism on Palestinian narratives. The judge in question is a former board member of the Centre of Israel and Jewish Affairs.
