Very good point, lost however on covid bedwetters who advocate wearing of facemasks.

Counterpoint If we needed warmth in our everyday life, we would have evolved fur by now. We haven’t. So I guess we don’t need clothes; let’s all go play in the snow. We obviously won’t freeze to death because we don’t need inventions, you guys just can’t handle a little cold!

It's a nonsense, if it's in the air it'll get inside via the eyes. What next mandatory visor / goggles.
-
This is not true. Viruses target specific parts of the body. Some disease are capable of entering the body through your eyes I’m sure. Covid needs access to your lungs. You cannot contract covid through your eyes.

I shudder when I see young children wearing them. Their immunity will suffer.

Yesterday, I wore a respirator mask, a surgical mask over the top, a visor, a long sleeved bin bag over my scrubs, gloves, and plastic shoes. It was very hot and sweaty but I wore it to keep my patients and myself safe. So I think you can wear a mask to a shop.

We are in the middle of pandemic with 65 thousand deaths. That calls for extraordinary measures. I do rank having to wear a face mask to protect others among them. Get a grip

We are quite clearly not ´in the middle of a pandemic’. Deaths with but not necessarily from Covid/CV have dwindled to very low numbers. None in Scotland for nearly 2 weeks now. The ‘cases’ are due to flawed testing.
