It's the obvious one of course, but both Money and Promised Land go for the hidden mechanisms of living in a society with much less emphasis on protagonist suffering etc. Extremely pessimistic and sinister movies.
There is something extremely contemporary and avant-garde in L' argent which is often missing in other Bresson movies.
