Avoiding usual suspects, in philosophy, it's the cave trilogy by JN Findlay. Very interesting philosopher. He was an apartheid apologist and a full-on racist who effortlessly managed to bridge his love for Hindu philosophy and Giovanni Gentile's doctrine via Hegel and Plato.

I had no idea about his racism, though can’t say I truly give a rat’s bum. I also have his books on Hegel. They are fantastic. Apparently there are philosophy departments that are of the mind that all students should know of Kant is that “he was racist.” This pisses me offpic.twitter.com/oUBWviYaYy

Findlay's racism is never explicit but still palpable as the core of his personal mystical philosophy. He was supposed to be the next Husserl or Wittgenstein, but it never happened.
