I had no idea about his racism, though can’t say I truly give a rat’s bum. I also have his books on Hegel. They are fantastic. Apparently there are philosophy departments that are of the mind that all students should know of Kant is that “he was racist.” This pisses me offpic.twitter.com/oUBWviYaYy

Findlay's racism is never explicit but still palpable as the core of his personal mystical philosophy. He was supposed to be the next Husserl or Wittgenstein, but it never happened.

This is a screenshot from a philosophy prof from UNC Charlotte. Apparently they are one of the few continental philosophy programs. One would expect this from a comp lit/queer theory dept, where cont phl is often taught in USA. But a phl dept? Only continental hollow-heads
