In the time of quarantine, I've started to read Persian mystics. I'm now convinced more than ever that they were all insurgent philosophers under hypercamouflage. Who says 'اَهدِم الکعبه' unless a true promethean who wants human storm the heavens?
The entire point of Persian mysticism is to terminate the illusion of Allah qua a a perfected totality as defined in the religious code. Within this gesture there lies a fundamental challenge to organized religion and their canons.

This identification and double annihilating in the Void-totality which is identical to Self nature which is realized to be Allah as he is and not as man perceives him is also not unique to Sufism but a common trait of global mysticism, whether Christian or Buddhist or Taoist etc

I’d disagree insofar as The Faana dissolves the division-light of Shaitan which allows the illumination of Muhammad, which is of the heart being the mirror of the self-less Allah, which is not the destruction of Allah, but the experience of Allah beyond all names, a Full Void-

All such interpretations should only be understood in the context of history. And when it comes to history, thinking that one experience is beyond every other possible experience is at best a dogma and at worst a slave-trading discourse.
