The idea that there is such a thing as analogue computation is a classic oxymoron. The logic of the digital is computation and vice versa. (Now let's see how quickly this thread devolves.)

Certain quantum gravity approaches overlap/appeal to digital physics, e.g. Smolin's LQG. We must colonize the orbit of a black hole in order to shoot a laser tangent to its event horizon, to see if the deflection matches predictions assuming discretized or continuous spacetime.
