Trolling aside. Land needs different spacetime for his time to work... It‘s fun, but it‘s just fiction.

I think you are tempted to strawman Land’s philosophy of time because of his amphetamine-era prose style. Understandable, but if you want to actually engage with it in a coherent form, it’s in his Bitcoin book.

I do know the newer works (partly), and mean especially these. Sorry, I won't be sold on this. Imho it gout worse over the years, though here and there a blink of genius shines through.

Well why did you phrase your initial reply as a question if you already knew the answer? To annoy me?

I asked Reza. That you are a /Landian/ is quite obvious. But I'm open tbh, just really don't think that Land gets quantum physics. Annoying you was not my mission.

Specialist knowledge is irrelevant. The question “What is the legitimate epistemological domain of physics” can’t be answered from within the science of physics.

Nihilistic rejection of the unknowable, as if the cosmos could be solved like a middle-school algebra problem. Reza and acolytes would just as soon crawl back into the womb.

People who invoke the unknowable are the most whimsical nihilists. The unknown without qualification is a fantasy in the mind of adolescent boys. That which is not in the purview of knowledge or hypothetical testing has no case.

If you were a bit non-partisan, you could realize that Parmenides assimilated Heraclitean thesis, time became the view from nowhen.
