Fair, but in comparison I'd argue a thermostat is more intelligent than a rudimentary calculator for the reason of how it responds to and senses its environment.

It's not if you are thinking of intelligence as a sliding scale quality of pattern recognition, detection of erroneous patternicity (and self correction), and ability to plan into the future.

Wittgenstein should typically win, but on many accounts he shouldn't. Nevertheless, as I said, I'm happy with either Carnap or Wittgenstein coming on the top.
