A good day is a day when you can jump from one esoteric topic to another without feeling bad about it: from Boron-Tin cycle to population vs individual models of R-naught in infectious diseases. That's what I call an exciting nerd day.

The second is about the models by which basic reproduction number (R0) is calculated. R0 is basically the number indicating if one infected person is introduced to a host of population susceptible to a disease, how many people will be infected from this person.

The current population-level models are based on empirical contact tracings, but recent finding show that different individual-levels of R0 calculation can generate different patterns. I.e., the currently used population-models for how an infectious disease spreads are inaccurate
