Sorry sir, there won't be any traditional means of political mobilization or infrastructure left after this is over to support 'your vision' of politics, not to mention the kind of communism you have in mind. Plan to write a response to Badiou text on covid and also talk about it

He doesn't seem to be leaning on any sort of traditional political mobilization here, and is instead taking the obsolescence of such as a premise. Clearly Badiou has some dubious ideas but I don't see the problem here beyond some well-earned crankiness.

His vision of communism is based on the 20th century means of mobilization, discreminate distrust of tech, social media, etc. There is much into that para beginning with 'The lesson to be drawn from this is clear'. When this over there won't any resort to politics as we know it.

"never let a good crisis go to waste" (collective rent strikes; using the internet and social media forums to collectivize these, etc.). Also, global debt jubilee (debt elimination). There is some infrastructural change to consider albeit not of the stripe Badiou poses

Instead of speculating like Agamben and Badiou (the latter is much better but still not great), I think the rigorous philosopher here looks at actual economics and what is happening in legislature.

In short, its time to nationalize the airlines
