My sister has been taking to her former colleagues at Shiraz Medical University. They no longer share the data with the government, only among themselves. They say that the latest estimate of fatality in Iran is between 15% to 17%, with 25% fatality of those who are under 40.

My former classmates who are now some of the greatest doctors go every morning to the hospital and come at the midnight. They can no longer accept regular cases. The beds are full and everyone else even with a gunshot cannot be admitted.
