I agree intensely. Perhaps this is a good place to share with you my terror —as empirically disclosed in psychedelic practice— is not disintegration but liquefaction. And it has come to haunt me over quarantine: I feel my body wanting to absorb me, couch me in protective snot.

What is interesting to me about this is: disintegration is egoic, but liquefaction pertains to the Id. I’m a big id, and thus experiencing this thing on a deep, idic level that fears loss of vitality almost as much as loss of life.
