Now the Pangozombistan is a real thing, people are thinking to not just hoard toilet paper but also guns. I had no idea that as an LPR I can buy a gun too. But can I actually use it as it's intended? Probably not.

It's not hard to not kill yourself, just obey the rules of basic gun safety and also refrain from killing yourself. t. Someone who carried a gun daily during a period of intense depressive psychosis

I have no qualm against carrying gun to be honest. I just think it requires a great deal of responsibility which many people lack.

I remember that I never saw my dad's handgun even though as the commander of the south-west army he was supposed to carry it at all times. He didn't want to glorify gun for us. He always used to tell us that gun is only an option when everything other option has failed.

If carrying a gun doesn't make you immediately cognizant of how little most altercations matter and how easily resolved they can be by graciousness and stoicism then you shouldn't be carrying. People who become more aggressive when they are carrying are the worst people.

Absolutely. The moment you think carrying a gun is a badge of honor, you fail. Even if you rightfully defended yourself with a gun, you shouldn't talk about it. Be a stoic. Friends used to ask my dad, did you kill a person in the war. He always replied: This is a wrong question.
