I personally think British dry humor is great, but sometimes it feels like swallowing a mouthful of bandages. Middle Eastern humor on the other hand is twisted, sinister and extremely unpredictable.
Think of Ahmed Ahmed's recent controversy joke: "Clap if you're from the Middle East," After a smattering of cheers, Ahmed slyly responded: "All right. We got a handful of us in in here, nice. But, hey, it only takes one of us ... to tell a joke."
