Druj, Who has had this sleep curse? Last night I dreamed of having a concatenated nightmare. I slapped myself to wake up. I woke up in another dream with the same dream-rl theme where I was still in a nightmare. For ten times I tried to wake up but it was all fake. Hell is real.

It is truly awful. You know some people actually enjoy this kind of thing, they wear nicotine patches to exacerbate their nightmares.

The majority of my dreams involve stranding on grey oceans with barges full of dead people, most of them are the people whom I care for.

Yes, those are fundamentally disconcerting. Falling eternally in a black void does play some terrible tricks on your sense of gravity. Alain Berthoz has written about this, about astronauts who experience zero g-force, they develop such nightmares.

Essentially, they all involve my cat talking to me or I take the hand of my partner and we visit some exotic site.
