I think nothing is comparable with the Middle East. Asia is either too warm or too rainy, these factors will never give you the fruits of heaven.

To be honest, after a few years of living in Asia, you can get bored of these. The only things that I found truly good were the Rambutan (put the flesh in a glass of martini). The second one is bunga kantan (ginger torch). Cut the stem and put it in a salad. It's truly godly.

think of this, if you leave a kitchen towel after using it on the table, next morning you will see a black towel thanks to fungi.
