Sautée chicken until golden brown. Then add garlic and pepper for 1 to 2 mins. Then the concoction of light/dark soy, lime juice and sugar which you have mixed. One min later, add basil leaves, a lot of them for 30 seconds. Turn off the heat. Serve it on tahdig and rice.

This is a very cheap, but tasty meal. It doesn't require so much work. The secret is in adding more basil. You can always adjust the sauce mix proportionally.
