Aha, you bumbling anti-rationalists. I now have your names. Shame on you.

Rationalism is a useless term in cognitive psychology and neuroscience. "Rational" is occasionally used but in a different sense than in philosophy. Quote from G. L. Clore: "Rationality is not a concept in current use in psychology... ambiguous in its meaning and value-laden."

Cognitive psychology is a mostly a speculative joke. I'm sure even Laruelle come with something better. Take that :)

How do you imagine AI without cognitive psychology? AI is basically cognitive sciences. I'm asking because I have the impression this is one of your major topic. I am only interested in it because it serves the radicalization of the machine/animal dyad.

Cognition is not psychologistic. If that was the case there would be no critique of psychologism. To confound cognition with psychology is like mistaking concepts for pictures of reality. We can talk about the gradient between these elements but we can't confound them.

Cognitive psychology is not psychologistic. Combined with neuroscience and computation tells us much more about cognition that philosophy ever has. Useless phantasmagoria, most of philosophical concepts concerning "rational", "reason", humanity.

I guess it's self-evident if you are familiar with the very basics of cognitive science (the interdisciplinary field, in the conventional academic sense).

I'm serious.I don't know what your exact premises about cog science are, so it would be wrong to say something.

Pretty catch - all term. Bruner and Jesse Prinz stan Goodman almost as much as you. And you stan Clark pretty hard right? Other stuff is phrenology with cool graphs. The CogSci people in HCI/CS are far closer to the latter pole
