Even non-instant noodles are bad if you step out of major cities. Believe it or not, I ate a beef noodle that contained beef chunks with hairs still sticking out of them.
I have this German friend who is legendary for being picky both in music and food. I gave him fesenjan for lunch, ash-e morgh for supper and ghormeh sabzi for late dinner. He got hooked for life.
