That was part of my point actually, That the unification won't happen unless it's behind dead bodies (as you can tell by the events of these last 4 days since our initial discussion). The "society" in the sense of a modern, nationalistic entity doesn't exist here.

What ever constituting concept that one can attribute to "bio-political" societies, here takes a shift toward a bloody necropolitics. Here there are dead bodies that are more powerfull that any institution. You can even go further as much as saying there is no "classes" in iran.

The mutual interests that cut across the whole body of a socious and makes classes somehow united in classical marxism for example, here are still limited to blood/familiam interest. The vastest non-familial common ground is usually a territorial one. I mean you nead fast and/

Brutal decodifyings to be able to speak of a "nation" called Iran. In present situation the concept of Iran itself is an oppression. And not just towards minorities you mentioned. But towards all blood-fragments (max. Population a familiam union can reach).

Do you get my drift? I think the concept of social trust can be a very interesting concept to look into in iran. Just look at how our oldest "cities" are structured, how public/private dualism distributes itself in islamic-architecture.

In Collapse#4, G. Sieg in his self-referential horror piece, when dicussing the mithraistic roots of lovecraft's racism, hits on the notion of Us/Them for the ancient Iranians. I think that inwardly-folded us/them that is never really even racial, is a machine we still operate.

As you yourself had said, the only way to know a complex system is to manipulate/construct it. There is a reason why by every manipulation, the spectre of depotism raises its head in Iran no matter what. There's a reason why for Iran to exist, you alway need the occupying despot.

Can we see the invariances in that, and try to make sense of it somehow?

My mother of abominations, I'm busted. I promise to write it. My sincere apologies, have been working around the clock writing stupid texts to pay the bills. But I'll be free in the coming weeks and will def. send you the text!

Disappointingly, I'm not going to write about Lovecraft. What I have in mind is that horror genre is distinctly under-equipped. So the the topic will be on the tentative impossibility of transcendental horror. Contemp. horror is all about the ontological hypostatization of things
