That's why I introduced LB276 to eliminate the requirement for a physician to be present in the room during a medical abortion. Telemedicine for abortion is currently banned, leaving many women without access to safe & necessary care. #NELeg

As more and more women’s healthcare clinics are closing under the weight of governmental restrictions, telemedicine is an increasingly crucial option for low-income and rural patients. To not offer telemedicine for abortion is to create an undue burden for Nebraskan women.

Please join me by contacting your senators to support LB276 to increase access to reproductive healthcare for low-income and rural women by allowing our first-class Nebraska physicians to use telemedicine for abortion. Legality means nothing without access.

Senator Hunt, I live in Omaha. When my wife had her second miscarriage (twins), we went to get what some people would call "the abortion pills" I didn't know at the time that this was controversial. At maybe our lowest moment, we had to make that choice. Thank you for your work.

FYI, they are still in our hearts, their names are Jasper and Clementine. It wasn't an easy thing, it hurt like hell. But, nobody wants to talk about it because they think it's taboo or improper.
