    The late Naz Bokhari, the first Muslim headteacher, went on the holy pilgrimage Hajj with the first Muslim MP Mohammad Sarwar. It is fantastic to see the legacy of the Sarwar family through the generations & we look forward to seeing the future contributions as well!

    Proud moment seeing my boys read & learn about their grandad becoming Britain’s first Muslim MP & seeing the Quran he took the oath on in 1997 & their great-grandad who was the first South Asian Scot to receive an MBE in 1963. GlaswegAsians exhibition at Scotland Street Museum

    Today would have been my Dad's 89th birthday. It's nearly two years since we lost him and the pain is still there. Life is never the same after you lose both your parents. Cherish them, and spend time with them. One day, it will be too late.
