I’m sorry, I love this show so much but the fandom on this website are not quite right in the head. Haven’t found tv discourse more annoying.

Traders at the Preston Market have been told their leases won't be renewed, potentially spelling the end of dozens of family businesses. The much-loved institution is set to close for good in January. @heidimur #9News

I can't tell you how much work has been put into this, to get our stories onto mainstream telly, to have the original story tellers telling their own stories. We are so incredibly honoured to have all these clever people share with us. Huge congrats to everyone involved 👏

Orcas have taken to slamming their [up to 18,000 pound] bodies into ships, capsizing them—totally new behavior. Orca moms have even been proactive in teaching the pod’s calves the skill, encouraging practice on smaller boats💀 Expect more of this from other animals moving fwd.

Some of these Succession takes are so punishing. “The way Roman cried because he was so sad” like ok genius! Thank god you’re here interpreting it for us, simply no way we would have read the subtext without you.

The AFL initiated a corrupt process, placing themselves as judge, jury and executioner. No evidence was collated or tested, because no one participated. They’ve then bought it to a close, and as expected, said “nothing to see here”. That’s a cover-up, not an exoneration.

A new report states the AFL has moved to end the Hawthorn racism probe, with all parties likely to be exonerated. LATEST: bit.ly/41WJ0NX

Magistrate Rami Attia on Monday found constable Ryan Barlow guilty of occasioning actual bodily harm, dismissing claims the officer had felt threatened (a poor excuse used often). Thank you Magistrate Rami for seeing this exactly as it is- police abuse

And there is something so special about seeing blackfullas dominate on the field but there’s something fucked about pushing our kids into these industries that we know exploit and discard them. Their lives and bodies might as well be owned by the clubs.

Seeing elite sportspeople in their prime is incredible and witnessing this can feel like communion but there’s are so, so many bodies discarded along the way. There is so much exploitation. At what cost is it all?

*Real strength* is the Aboriginal women who broke their silence and whose hearts and families are still broken.

I am so proud of Clarko for coming to this decision, and of our club for having the people and structure in place to enable him to step away for as long as he needs. This, quite simply, is what strength looks like. 💙🤍 twitter.com/NMFCOfficial/s…

This series by abt depopulated space is a devastating (non-graphic!) visual account of the Nakba’s ongoing brutality: of forced abandonment, the skeletons of inaccessible land & memories of life laid waste by the death-making settler machine

I'd love to see Blackfullas take class action against the QPS and/or the Premier for enabling unlawful behaviour.
Quote Tweet
Yesterday I asked the Qld premier and the leader of the opposition if they'd condemn the vigilante event. The premier said she was "concerned" but didn't condemn it. The opposition leader said no one wants to see vigilantism but he didn't want to “pour fuel on the flames”.
