A little fun topic, what's the FULL story of why you chose your main for smash 4??
For me I originally started out with yoshi, but after my first tourney I stopped using him all together and slowly moved towards different characters, however alongside him I also used doc so Doctor Mario I've been playing consistently for my whole smash career.
Olimar came in a month later and I was gonna play him at first like I did in brawl but he was so different it was a turn off, but I went back and started playing him again and realized I liked some parts of his kit. After that's it's been history, I was gonna main fox at one time
But then everyone started using him and I felt like I wasn't good so people would make fun of me lol it sucks that I stopped playing yoshi and fox too cause ive been maining them since 64 and I played mostly doc in melee but doc is still here luckily
i was a palutena main on 3ds because she reminded me of brawl marth for some reason then I mained marth while at the same time raising a shulk cp but realized i didn't like him in this game as much then mained cloud and hated getting gimped then I mained shulk after that

Picked up Rosa for a bit. There was a period when I was doing better with her than Lucas, but at some point I wasn’t getting “carried” by Rosa anymore so I ended up being better with Lucas. Then I dropped Rosa for marth slowly then when MKLeo won g4, I switch to Marth
Btw I know I haven't been responding since I'm at work, BUT I have been reading everyone's stories and it's interesting to see how influenced everyone is by their love for a game genre or a specific player/playstyle
