I hope she’s found safe and well but it does sound a bit suicidal to me how a four-year-old can make it back on the boat but she couldn’t. They are both in my prayers I really hope she gets round because this would be very sad.

I almost drowned on that same lake a few years ago when the wind was blowing the boat away from me faster than i could swim to it. It was terrifying. I was getting tired trying to swim towards it. Finally someone threw me a rope and pulled me in.

I read one way to survive from drowning is to not panic and to float on your back til someone rescues you. Do you think that would’ve been possible in your situation? Maybe Nayas?
