Conspiracy theorists in the GOP have always been a problem, but they are now a consequential problem and the indispensable voting bloc in the GOP primarily because unprincipled GOP politicians decided to exploit, embrace and finally exalt the unhinged masses.

In fact, Trump was so manifestly unfit for office that Bill Barr just had no other choice but to undermine confidence in American institutions with bullshit investigations. The reality is that he'd accept another term of Trump if the alternative was Joe Biden- or any Democrat.

Once again, for years now, Kinzhal is an air-launched ballistic missile folks. We were among the first if not the first to analyze it an Iskander-M SRBM adaptation when it first emerged. Enhanced range and endgame kinematics, as well as the potential ability more easily fly… Show more

The US isn’t even having to fight this war, Mike—the Ukrainians are beating Putin all by themselves. They just need our weapons. Defeating Putin without a single US boot on the ground is the best investment we could possibly make. Only a fool would oppose helping.

This is more than just saying “Trump is dramatic” or “Trump will lose.” It has to be: “Trumpism will kill the GOP because Republicans like me will leave and vote against the party if you pick him. We will not play this game with you.” And then, when they pick him, leave & fight.

The minute a critical mass of Rs decide to do that (there arguably already is an 8-10% that already bolted in 2020) is the minute that this new bloc secures huge leverage in our politics and can actually keep growing. Why? Because it will finally be fighting for something.

The only way the non-MAGA lane of the GOP (to the extent it exists) will ever regain power to implement its non-Trumpism agenda is to prove that it will bolt and deny Trumpism victory—that Trumpism is not a politically viable package in the US. Close ranks, use leverage, win.

With Trump dominating state polls, Pence booed at the NRA, & DeSantis not even showing up, the “stay coy & on the team to sway things” crowd has failed. Time for the Normies to give up the game & join us at the barricades. We can’t win his voters, we have to rally our own.

The one choice that would be most meaningful in a GOP primary is between Donald Trump and Liz Cheney—the clearest contrast in divergent directions over core principles. Liz Cheney should run for President.

Marjorie Taylor Greene makes clear yet again that she cannot be trusted with America’s national security information and should not have a security clearance of any kind.

When it comes to Ukraine, the Biden Administration has lied to us from the very beginning. Joe Biden said the US would not get involved in the war in Ukraine because Ukraine is not a NATO member nation. Yet over a year later, we’ve sent hundreds of billions of dollars, military… Show more

Jeb says: “In this case, let the jury be the voters.” But that’s not how our justice system works, and it could be said of any case where a candidate is charged. Elections decide who we want to serve—not guilt in a crime. Plus, the voters already weighed in on Trump—he lost.

Bragg’s predecessor didn’t take up the case. The Justice Department didn’t take up the case. Bragg first said he would not take up the case. This is very political, not a matter of justice. In this case, let the jury be the voters.

The level of professionalism and competence required to do this is eye watering. The crew deserves nothing but respect; for strategists, this is another sign that resources and requirements are completely misaligned. #RoyalNavy #Submarines #AUKUS #NATO

We cannot let Putin define the rules of the Black Sea. Russia's invasion of Ukraine and its provocation against a U.S. drone underscore the need for a robust U.S. Black Sea strategy to strengthen coordination with our allies and partners in the region.

Putin’s Russia is our adversary. It is very much in America’s security interest to continue supporting Ukraine. Today’s provocation also underscores the urgent need for a revamped Black Sea strategy. We cannot leave it up to Putin to define the rules of the Black Sea.

The global competition between dictatorship and democracy is center stage in Ukraine. The world is watching to see whether we have the courage of our convictions to honor our long-standing commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty. America will not shrink from our support of freedom.

Doing the right thing for another nation can also be the right thing for America. It is in our interest to support Ukraine. Doing so makes Russia far less likely to launch major new wars, which would further damage our economy and threaten our security.
