Morning! I'll be at the San Francisco #climatestrike this morning where students are planning to gather at @SpeakerPelosi's office, march to @SenFeinstein's office and rally at Union Square.

Another chant: “Hey Pelosi, look around. Please say keep it in the ground. Hey Pelosi, look around. We need some justice in this town.”

Isha Clarke, 16, with @Y_Vs_A compares the climate crisis to an apocalypse and adds, “I love Wall-E, but I don’t want to live in that world.”
Clarke is a powerful speaker. “As young people were told were rowdy, we don’t care, but obviously we do. We’re leading a movement to save the world. ... Our grandchildren thank us.”
Samantha, 12: “Our future generation is at stake... We demand a future, even if it means fighting til the day we die.”
Nadja Goldberg, one of the main organizers of the SF strike: “This fight might be long and hard, but we will not stop until we succeed.”
Goldberg: “Sometimes it takes the youth to point out the obvious — that our planet is burning.”
