    Have you ? This amazingly rare bird is a Willow Tit which likes damp, wooded areas. Their most distinctive feature is actually their call - "zee-zurzur-zur". We're celebrating it this week - share your love of wildlife and let us know if you spot one - ♥️

  7. We're celebrating the Willow Tit this week, very often mixed up with the Marsh Tit which looks incredibly similar! The only really strong way to tell the difference is the call. Left is the Willow Tit & right is Marsh Tit (📷)

    So many fab photos for our - the Willow Tit. It's a very difficult bird to identify as it looks so alike to the Marsh Tit! The easiest way to tell is by it's call. For now - it's just lovely to see so many people show their ♥️ for wildlife. Keep them coming folks!

    Best way to distinguish Willow & Marsh is still the calls - Marsh have a high pitched sneeze-like "pitch-ou" whereas the Willow has a raspy "zee-zurzur-zur".
