[1] To be honest, not so hyped about the latest news about possible remasters. Now I understood what that pile of nonsense really meant about "economy is threatened". If the rumors are true and it is related to a recent mod take downs, then it is just a scummy move.
[2] I see it as they want to "artificially" lower popularity of their old games to get more people to buy their new product or play Online or... I dunno. Mostly thanks to the mods these games are still doing well after almost 20 years.
[3] The sad thing is, at this time they won. They are now receiving only hate speech, which soon will end. It isn't like when fans ruined V's ratings for closing OpenIV in the past years. At this time their "economy" is doing well and the consequences aren't that bad... for them.
[4] I would be not surprised if these "remasters" will look more like War Drum Studios crappy GTA SA ports. This actually will be epic.
I understand that but what i hope for is a more visual appealing game and added cut features like they did with the bully SE
Weren't some of the cut features/content not that good to begin with and made SE not as good as the original? I remember watching a video on how bad the cut missions were.
I am not waiting for the remasters because I'm sure they will remove a lot of old songs due to licensing issues
