I doubt most of the people who worked on GTA3 are even at Rockstar anymore.
Would be so cool if the developers gave us Q?A session about this glorious game. I have so many interesting questions about this game.

Didn’t they actually do that? Or at least something close to it? I remember leading up to V, a Q&A where they said that the squishy sound of driving over peds in III was made by squashing melons.

Yes they did, but it was 9 years ago and only a few questions were answered.

Knowing Rockstar, it would be heavily monitored and we wouldn't know anything other than we already know. But yeah, it would be interesting. They might know there are many people interested in beta-hunting and stuff, so why not give them something nice instead of than a C&D?
