in TLAD you are not required to ever use the Internet in a mission (only replying to an e-mail about the AOD gang from Jim) the police computer is never required in a mission in either DLC

also another memorable interaction with the e-mail feature in TLAD is messaging Johnny’s brother Michael, who turns hostile against Johnny whether you reply positive or negative to him.

Yeah you are right there was no missions involving police computers in fact you cannot even use them for most wanted like you could in the original GTA 4
