Since you're from Latvia, why don't use eshopwedrop or oyher 3rd party delivers? I bought a bunch of stuff from the states and it costs less than 10€ for their service.

The problem with this eshopwedrop is that they can accept items only if it was shipped to them via courier service. As eshopwedrop representative said me, they won't go to the post office or a locker to collect my stuff.

Well, it is because of the plane delivery and the mainland in on the other side of the Earth. They pay the same when order goods from China. Although this is just my thoughts and the reason can be different.
