I don't understand why the community has fix the game in order to enjoy it. Why the developer doesn't bother to make it right from the beginning

The mouse issue is actually not their fault. It’s a bug ever since Windows Vista and DirectX 8. Vice City also shares this issue, as do a few other DX8 games. The SilentPatch method is to do some fuckery with some code that potentially causes other issues with memory.

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to call you wrong. They did a method that’s cleaner but still relies on DirectX 8 code and therefor is broken past Windows XP. Honestly, the best fix is to update the code to DX9 (funny enough, it kinda looks like they maybe thought of this in certain spots)
