1/ We’re only 13 (!) days into session. Where is the Speaker’s mind at? Her next Senate race— 2020. With a historically partisan voting record, she’s already trying to pave her way for a primary against the most bipartisan Senator in the country, Sen. Collins.

Michaud lost nearly 80,000 votes and 12% from '08 to '10. Poliquin lost 5% from '16 to '18. Not everything can be explained with some partisan slant. Dems played it well this cycle, but the trend of national waves and off-year elections play huge, predictable roles.

Open enrollment for health care and the defeat of Q1 here in Maine reminds us that Medicare for All or universal care is still not the answer.

Quick dog rescue on the causeway in Naples! Mishka had run 7 miles from home, so she briefly joined the tour while we returned her. Beautiful dog, glad she had a collar and glad she’s back home!

Starting Day 3 of the barnstorming tour off right this morning at the Bath Iron Works gate. Figured these hardworking shipbuilders could use some Dunkin’ to get the day going. Bath Built, Best Built!

Rep. Pingree has voted against BILLIONS of dollars for jobs at Bath Iron Works at EVERY step of the appropriations process. Maine deserves a Representative who will stand with BIW & PNSY 100% of the time. will be that Congressman.
