Today I got THAT email from @TeamYouTube regarding the ridiculous changes to their 'YouTube Partners' programme, which will unfortunately affect a lot of smaller channels, including my own

I never started my channel as a way to make a quick buck (it doesn't happen anyway) - but now the few pence I was getting is being taken away. Not only that, but it is going to be even harder to grow my channel with the algorithm prioritising monetized content in search listings.
Ultimately, it seems @YouTube doesn't see value in smaller creators any more.
