    Just for kicks I was looking at apartments and houses in Tokyo. Contrary to popular belief, you can get a pretty big place (800 sq ft, 2 bedrooms) for less than $1500/mo.

    I’m always pretty impressed at how many small businesses are in new-ish Toronto buildings. The more new buildings you have and Toronto has LOTS), the harder it is for them all to find credit tenants, and the more willing they are to subdivide for small businesses
