Violence against women, that's hilarious! She should do stand up at the next klan rally, I am sure she'll be a hit!

Also, she sent her daughter to a Christian private school with no black students. And she brags about fighting a circular saw (while calling it a "circle saw").

Well...Trump is president. That's the loaded message right there.

We need to impeach him

She was referring to the sexism she was confronted with at that time and the terrible jokes told to her, I dislike her politics and disagree with her but we have to have context
-
But the expression on her face and her tone of voice makes me think she actually found them funny. She was telling them AS jokes
-
That's one take on it. Another take is that she was trying to muster some humor and retelling them as a way to take some of the sting out of the sexism she faced when she 1st heard them. AND her audience may have been mostly men she was trying to appease. Context is key
-
Some things are inappropriate in any context.
-
That's an overly simplistic way 2 look @ a complex world. Life isn't B&W. That's the sort of simplistic thinking people like trump & MAGA engage in that's dangerous. Use ur good mind 2 think of a context where it would B legit. Ex. filing an EEOC complaint & must repeat the evid
-
Ok, an appropriate context would be an actual training session on sexual harassment. In which case, such jokes would not be told with a nudge-wink smirk and amused tone of voice
-
Now that's a good ex. & no they might not..b/c..in a training class, u are not trying to get people 2 support u, vote 4 u or donate $ 2 u. not saying she was right to do it. What I'm saying is it's good practice to think thru broad assertions (e.g. *never ever* stmts)
-
It sound to me that you’re condoning her. So it’s ok to tell inappropriate “jokes” is you’re trying to get people to like you/vote for you? She could have related the experience without telling them as jokes. Ok, bye.
