  4. Let's all take a moment to appreciate how royally Trump has f-ed himself. If he ends the shutdown without $ for the wall his base will freak out But if he keeps it closed, he loses the independent voters he needs in 2020. And he's too stupid to figure out a solution.

  5. In 2018 Republicans ran on an anti-immigration, pro-wall platform and LOST by 10 million votes. So in 2019 we’re NOT building a wall. We will be building another though.

I will not be running for President in 2020, but I hope Beto O’Rourke does. It’s time for a new generation of leadership.

Trump & Republicans had 2 years to pass meaningful legislation, but all they did was give a massive tax break to corporations, which benefited only executives & investors, not the workers. Time for the party with actual ideas & policy solutions to take over.

My New Years resolution is to make 2019 even worse for Trump than 2018. And to eat fewer carbs.

How big was the 2018 Blue Wave? ENORMOUS. The # of Democrats we turned out for a Midterm election matched the Presidential election. That has NEVER happened before. Ever. The energy is real and Republicans are freaking out behind closed doors.

It’s taken 9 days, but Trump is just now realizing how badly he’s screwed himself with the shutdown. Democrats aren’t budging on the wall, Mitch McConnell and Republicans have completely abandoned him, and Americans blame him for the shutdown. Womp womp.

Who is more deplorable? Trump for blaming the immigrant children’s deaths on Democrats. Or the people who voted for him.

It there’s a recession it will be entirely on Trump. He completely deregulated big banks and Wall St, conducted a pointless and damaging trade war with China, shutdown the government, and cut welfare in exchange for a tax break on corporations and the wealthy.
