And maybe even be able to have the "luxuries" that our parents and grandparents just took for granted as being part of working life - like being able to afford an occasional vacation, or having a comfortable retirement waiting for us if we live to our mid- 60s

AMEN!!! My son is 32 and I hate when people start attacking him because he is a millennial, like he must not even know how to do anything. He is a college graduate and doing quite nicely, he is smart and yes I may have spoiled him a little but he worked his way through college.
